India / Nepal Trip - March, 2008

Launched: 03/31/2008

This was my first exposure to India. Sure, I'd flown into the airport, but we had Mugdha's parents waiting for us there, and they'd had a driver waiting to take us to the hotel. It was dark when we arrived, so we really couldn't see anything until early the next day.

So this was the first time seeing Mumbai, and indeed, India. It was hot and humid, loud, strange, with pretty much NOTHING familiar. Sights, sounds, smells, were all VERY different than anything I'd experienced. Sure, I've seen smog and traffic before, but it was still very different.
