Cheryl, I can get the model and year from a combo of the 2WE- and the last 6
#s on serial #;
 BTW, for anyone's info here, from 88 thru 96 at least, 49 staters have the
2WE, and Cal. models have 2WF. Hope this helps.

The 2WE means it is an 88 or newer model, 49 state, and the serial
# part on the frame identifies it as a 90, serial #s ran from 010101-
014101 that year, yours falls between those #s, think it was in the
011___ range.... Is this clearer? Last 6 #s on the frame ID... Hope this
is clearer...

PS. That white sticker on the neck should also have a build date as well,

This helps, if it a 49 state model, it's an 88, if Cal., either an 88 or
89... Does your bike carry a canister along the left framerail, just above
the swingarm pivot mount? If so, it's Calif. model.
