<< BBB, did you get the guages under the existing clear plastic, or remove it and mount in the space? JimY437 >> I left the clear plastic of the grey housing in place. One gauge fit's right where the original water gauge was, mounted with the bracket that comes with it. The other one I have pressed against the clear glass and cut the mounting panel out, so that it screwed (3) into the plastic from the back. Takes a little grinding here and there. I remember Don Smith has used a Dremel to enlarge the left opening wheeras I have mounted it right from behind. They have a digital odometer, too. > I'm talking about the "Old" Fazer, (the 1986 model), it uses the same speedo as the Max in conjunction with a tach mounted on the side, trust me, I had a Fazer ( and I soo sorry I sold it with only 7,000 k!!!)
