Hi Dennis: Unless your arms are shorter than average, the position of the stock handlebar clamp is perfect, (at least for me) besides you don't want to "raise" the handlebars, you need a little "drop" on them, to give you a natural leverage, especially for tucking at high speed, don't forget that the average "drag bar" is about 2 to 3 inches, shorter than the stock ones. I"ve changed mine to K&N's "Superbike" bend, it's wider and gives you a superior leverage while keeping the low rise. Mario --------- I agree with Vern here, I had the K&N "Drag-Bars" but I switched to the "Superbike", better leverage, wider(so the mirrors actually do the job), and half as high as the stock ones.
