HelpScott,
You may want to step the main jets up at least one size since you are =
running a stage 7. If your max is like my 95, you probably have 152.5 =
mains. Order some 155 and possibly some 157.5. I think 160s are too =
much. Last night I pulled my 160s and put 155 in. My max seems to run =
much better. Only way you will really see a difference will be on the =
dyno.=20

Removing the carbs is fairly easy. MAin jets can be changed in under an =
hour, @ 30 min if you a re good (I'm speaking from experience now... ) =
Here's a quick how to....

1. Remove tank cover
2. Remove scoops
3. Remove Airbox - or individual K&N filters
4. Remove chrome plastic covers on intake manifolds (two big round =
screws each)
5. Losten top manifold clamps on base of carbs. No need to losten both - =
leave rubber manifolds on intake.
6. Follow carb linkage cables to black/clear linkage box. Remove small =
screws, remove linkage.
7. Remove fuel line.
8. Pull carbs up and out of rubber manifold retainers. Should come loose =
fairly easy.=20
9. Carefully slide carbs out left side of frame (they come out as a =
complete "brick" of carbs)
10. Drain gas by inverting carbs (technical way I use :P )
11. Carefully turn carbs upside down on bench.=20
12. With a 10mm socket or wrench, you can losten the brass stop on the =
bottom of the carb float bowls ( each carb has one) I recommend doing =
one at a time.

Be CAREFUL HERE...

13. After lostening and removing the 10mm stop, losten the jet with a =
straight screwdriver being careful to not mar the threads. DONT LOSTEN =
THE JET ALL THE WAY. Only one or two turns.
14. Take a square sided wood toothpick and push it carefully into the =
jet.
15. Carefully invert the carbs again so you are looking up into the =
float bowl and jet.=20
16. Use the toothpick and gravity to remove the jet. If the jet falls =
off in the float bowl, you will have to remove the cover. This is a bad =
thing.... Just be careful.

reverse steps 14-16 to install the larger main jets. Repeat for =
remaining carbs.

Reinstall carbs, airbox, etc.

Dyno it! :)

Hope this helps...

Thanks,
Cory F.
