Famous motorcycle seat maker Corbin has announced the securing of necessary governmental permits for their planned 50th anniversary celebration of the 1947 Hollister Motorcycle Rally this coming July 4th weekend. Corbin says the historical event will be the biggest rally ever held in California, and they've scheduled many activities for attendees including venders, concerts and test rides. The event will be held south of the Hollister airport between Hwy. 25 and Hwy. 156 on 60 acres of land on July 4-5-6, 1997. Hollister is located in central California 90 miles south of San Francisco, and 40 miles inland from the famous Hwy. 1 that runs along the Pacific Ocean. There will be a $5 parking fee but the rally itself is free to all. According to Corbin, all area hotels and motels are welcoming the event.
