From: "Shawn T." Last question...Last weekend I found probably the best road in Hawaii for motorcyclists! The road is hairpin turn after hairpin turn up a mountain with some of the most jaw-dropping views of the ocean and beaches I've ever seen. Anyway, I was quickly reminded of how bad the V-Max is at tight turns with speed (ie. I was scraping pegs regularly!!!). The road is on the island of Oahu and starts out as Tantalus, hairpin turns all the way up the mountain with rest stops along the way. Then it turns into Round Top Drive which curves its way down the mountain. For most of the way there is nothing but tropical jungle. Pretty amazing... Shawn --------------- You didn't specify what island you're visiting. On Kauai, there is a place that provides dual sport tours (It's call Two Wheels of Kauai). It's a bit expensive, but I did it and had one of the most fun times of my life. It takes about 8+ hours.
