It took some persuading to get them to do the front. While they *might* be able to do the rear, most car shops have policy to not work on motorcycles. I chose Firestone because it's less than a block from my house. It's not likely to be a problem, but ask if there will be metal to metal contact with your rim. These days most cars seem to come with alloy rims, so the danger of metal rim tools should be minimal. I took my front to Firestone because the cycle shop near my house had some problems with their tools and ultimately nicked my rim in a few places. Also their employees tend to be about 18 or 19 and there seems to be a lot of turnover. The Firestone guys are mostly in their 30's and I've been dealing with the same guy for a couple of years. I like that. IMHO I think you should let the bike shop do the rear, and take the front to a car shop. Let each shop work with what they know. ----------------------------------------------------
