M94-034 They say that they will install the front swing arm protector free of charge to all '93 Canadian model. If you have a '93 model, just go to your local dealer and give them the bulletin number and they'll do the rest. -- richardl@bigfoot.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have done some research on Jason's and Ray's questions regarding a Canadian bulletin # M94-034.... 1993 front swing arm protector. I contacted Yamaha USA in Cypress, CA. They didn't know anything about a "service note" concerning a modification to the '93 GTS-1000 to bring it up to date with a '94. I contacted Yamaha Canada, and here is the information. Canada is not honoring the note any longer, especially for US bikes... but.... we have a couple of options if you would like to pursue this service modification to keep the front swing arm in "like nu condition". The following is the "service procedure" with the appropriate part numbers to complete the modification: PARTS INFORMATION PART # DESCRIPTION QTY Price Where to Order ===================================================================== 90891-20059 Cover Kit(GTS) 1 $60.00 US Canada only ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This kit includes the following parts: ====================================================================== Ref. # Part # Description QTY Price US $ ====================================================================== 21 4BH-23132-00 Cover, Outer 2(left) 1pc $70.22 22 90150-06031 Screw, round head 1pc 1.69 23 4BH-23133-00 Cover, lower 2(right) 1pc 92.64 24 90154-05002 Screw 2pc 2.60 25 90179-05523 Nut (rivnut) 2pc 1.61 26 26A-21652-00 Protector 2pc 1.63 ====================================================================== Total $US for individual pc's $173.23 Plus tax.
