I had the same type of problem that lasted for about a year until i figured out a cure once and for all! Somehow, someway air has gotten into the hydraulic unit for the abs system and regular brake bleeding helps for a short time but gradual brake pedal loss always occurs after a time. If you take off the right side cover you can see the hydraulic unit as shown on page III-8 of the ABS supplemental in the GTS shop manual. You will also note a hex head "plug" in the side of the unit. If you loosen this plug & bleed the rear brake through this plug it will get rid of the stuck air in the system! It took me a while to figure this all out but I haven't had a single problem with the brakes since. Bob Taylor, gtsbiker
