> Yamaha Genuine parts price for the this 2 inch piece is 270 Dollars > > > !!!! Excuse my hindi, but f#!k that! My oxygen sensor (wake up people, you will need to replace this at least by 50k miles) was equally as expensive. I saw these in an auto parts store for $20. And it looked like it would fit the GTS. I think I will do a little experiment now and see if a generic one works. If so, I will post the results to the list. My bike has 73k on it. At around 40 or 50, it started hesitating at times. By 60k, it was beginning to be very undriveable. It would do fine on acceleration, but hesitate badly when maintaining the same speed. I tried cleaning it with no luck. Replacing this little part made the bike run like new. But they are expensive via yamaha. I don't see how they think they are going to retain customers that way. My abs pump is gone as well.
