>Count me as another satisfied customer of the "pots at 1:00" >fix for the hesitation problem on the GTS. Way cool! I've tried moving the pots around a little more and couldn't get it any better than 1 o'clock. I'm totally satisfied with the throttle behaviour at this point. If you adjust the Throttle Postiion Sensor (TPS) you can actually move what little surge is left down or up in the RPMs. Adjusting to the specs on Robert Taylors webpage might not be good for you as it moved my little surge to a higher RPM which made it more noticable. Play around with the TPS voltage and see what's good for you. >Thanks for the advice Kevin (Hawkins). I will now bow >to the East before each ride and sacrifice a small child >in your honor. Awe shucks! Actually, it was Stephen Furr from Raleigh, NC who came up with this setting, which means that you would still have to bow to the east, but not to me please. He used to tune old race cars and could tell when the fuel mixture was correct by placing his face near the exhaust. This is not a joke! He would richen the mixture until the exhaust made his eyes water, which indicated the presence of unburned fuel. He'd then back off a little. 1 o'clock was his discovery and I believe that the pots on the ECM control the duration the the injectors are kept open during the intake stroke. Works like a charm. Forget the sacrifice..............SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!! Kevin Hawkins // Greensboro, NC
